On Wednesday 29 April 2026, 55 participants met in the greenhouse of the Prague Botanical Garden for an afternoon of science and networking. This year’s theme was regulatory T cells, following the 2025 Nobel Prize and International Day of Immunology.
Three keynote talks covered tolerance and Treg biology: Dominik Filipp spoke about cellular immunology and the role of Sca-1+ RORγt+ Treg cells in protecting the early gut microbiota, Matouš Vobořil introduced “thymflammation” in central immune tolerance, and Tereza Ormsby presented translational work on small molecules targeting the CD73 and CD39 pathways.
After a coffee break there was a networking session with a botanical garden quest, a competition, networking bingo and fortune-telling. A panel moderated by Jan Černý featured Kateřina Rohlenová, Tomáš Brabec and Šimon Borna. The evening ended with dinner and a social programme.
