The Homunkulus Foundation for Immunology operates under the Czech Immunological Society. It supports creative scientific work and the spread of knowledge in fields that study and treat diseases caused by genetics and immune processes.

The foundation sponsors the Jaroslav Šterzl Award.
About the foundation
It was founded by Prof. Helena Tlaskalová-Hogenová on 16 April 2007. Since 2021 its seat has been the Institute of Microbiology of the CAS in Nový Hrádek. Board: Milada Šírová (chair), Helena Tlaskalová-Hogenová, Hana Kozáková and Miloslav Kverka; the auditor is Martina Vančurová.
